Settings for bookkeeping accounts and VAT rates

In Billogram, we have a predefined a number of bookkeeping accounts and VAT rates that are commonly used for invoicing.

It is recommended that before you start invoicing in Billogram, you go in and enter the bookkeeping accounts you wish to use for each purpose so that all verifications receive the correct information from the start. This is done under Bookkeeping → Bookkeeping settings.

For each predefined VAT rate there is an associated revenue and VAT account. Adjust these to suit your needs. If you use other VAT rates than those already defined, you can add these here and specify the desired revenue and VAT accounts for these as well.
Also enter the desired accounting accounts for Accounts Receivable, Bank, Client funds, etc.

If you need to book income and VAT in more detail than at the VAT level, it is possible to set up the desired accounting accounts directly in the article register which you can find under Items, settings made here take precedence over the general settings made under bookkeeping settings.

Note that all changes made to accounting accounts are reflected in the accounting on the vouchers created after the time you made the change. If you already created invoices before the change, you may need to correct these vouchers manually in your own accounting. There is no possibility to correct accounting verifications directly in Billogram because Billogram is not an accounting system and thus does not have such functionality.
